Nguyên Duy-Thông – contre-ténor

Born in Toulouse, Nguyen Duy-Thông did his studies at the Sorbonne while studying singing with soprano Liliane Mazeron before perfecting with singer Regina Renik, Sena Jurinac, and Jill Feldman.
Having studied the baroque style with the harpsichordist Yannick le Gaillard and the conductor William Christie, it is in the repertory of the old music particularly adapted to his register, that he makes his first steps of singer soloist: Orfeo de Monteverdi , Ode Come ye sounds of Art by Henry Purcell, cantata Actus tragicus (BWV) 106 of JSBach etc.
